Clock Tower junction was one of the important land mark the city. The 45 ft. tall clock tower was demolished in 1994 for road widening.

The project proposed to reinstate the iconic clock tower of Mangaluru. The proposed clock tower is 23.22 m (76 ft.) tall with clocks of 2m diameter on all four sides.
