  • Mangaluru City was selected under the 2nd  Round of Smart City Challenge on September 20, 2016.

  • Mangaluru City secured 6th position in the overall list and 1st position in the state.

  • As per the Smart City Mission Guidelines Issued by the Central Government the implementation of the Mission at the City level will be done by a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) created for the purpose.

  • The SPV is to be a limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 at the city level, in which the State/UT and the ULB are the promoters having 50:50 equity shareholding.

  • Accordingly, Mangaluru Smart City Limited registered as a public company limited by shares under the Companies Act, 2013 on April 06, 2017, having CIN: U74999KA2017PLC102010 and  GSTIN: 29AALCM0527G1ZF

  • Registered Office is situated on the 3rd Floor, Mangaluru City Corporation Building, M.G. Road, Lalbaug, Dakshina Kannada, Mangaluru – 575 003, Karanataka.
