NITK Beach is situated on the southwestern seaboard of the Indian sub-continent, adjacent to Surathkal, Mangalore. It is 20 km from the centre of Mangalore city. The northern extension of Suratkal Beach, it was later named after the nearby NITK (National Institute of Technology, Karnataka).It is a private beach.

A lighthouse was constructed at the beach in 1972.
