A state of the art active 3D 8K hybrid Planetarium with nano seam dome of a diameter of 18m, tilted at 15 deg, with a seating capacity of 173, having unidirectional viewing facility, this planetarium will focus on Astronomy based shows and activities. This project is entirely funded by the DST, GoK and funds released through KSTePS, this will be the first Planetarium of its kind in India.
